Romans 11:22  the goodness and severity of God

God has blessings for us when we continue in his goodness but we suffer the consequences when we fall from his goodness.

Numbers 13:30 Caleb stilled the people before Moses

The children of Israel were coming upon the land that flowed with milk and honey and they feared the inhabitants of the land.  Caleb had confidence and encouraged everyone to not be afraid and possess the land.

Numbers 14:6-24, 36  God displeased with the people doubting

God was displeased with the people that brought the evil report of the land and caused them to die of the plague but Caleb, who had another spirit, was brought into the land for him and his seed to possess it.  God blesses us when we have faith and do good but if we don’t have faith and do not please God then we will deal with his severity.

Deuteronomy 27:15-26  cursings for doing evil

God listed the cursings he would deliver if the people broke his laws because he knew there hearts were set to do evil.

Deuteronomy 28:1-8 blessings for doing good

God commanded a blessing to those who hearkened diligently unto the voice of the Lord and did all of his commandments.

Deuteronomy 13:11 all of Israel shall hear and fear

Mark 16:16  he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved

 Galatians 2:20  crucified with Christ

We are crucified with Christ when we deny ourselves, our ways , our flesh but we live in Christ when we walk in the spirit and do his will and receive his blessings.

Revelation 22:18-19  do not add or take away from word of God

18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Though we know God is a loving and forgiving God, through the scriptures we understand he is also a God to be feared and respected.  There are consequences for all of our actions.  Good consequences for when we do good unto God and severe consequences when we are displeasing to God.
