2 Corinthians 2:11  We are not ignorant of Satan's devices

Satan will try to convince us that by living as Christians that we are getting "ripped off."

Matthew 6:19-21 Where your treasure is...

Hebrews 11:23-28  Moses chose to suffer the affliction of God's people, rather than the reward of being Egyptian royalty, knowing that he would have a greater reward in the end.

Proverbs 16:3  Commit thy works unto the Lord

James 1:1-3  Count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations

Joel 3:14  the valley of decision

Mark 8:34-37  What shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Psalms 73:1-5, 16-18 prosperity of the wicked

Sometimes it seems that those outside the faith are doing better in their lives than we are in ours.  Their advantages are short-lived, though.

Hebrews 6:10 God is not unfaithful to forget your labor

Colossians 3:1-4  ye have put off the old man and his deeds

Isaiah 64:4  what God hath prepared

It has not yet been seen, or heard what God has prepared for His servants.  Much as it seems that others are doing better, that it is only for a time.  This is the short life; in the next life we will be rewarded.
